:: NYC debut of Sharam Jey w/ Richie Santana and Chris Soul - Usa

Friday February 3rd SOL is proud to announce the NYC debut of one of house musics hottest artists...SHARAM JEY ! Sharam has stormed the house world the last few years and people are going crazy for his sound everywhere it is played.

This is his first time ever in NY and we want to give him the welcome he deserves.

It is also the NYC date of his 4 Da Loverz album release tour...the album has received incredible praise everywhere and even helped land Sharam the cover of DJ MAG this past July.

This is definitely one performance you DO NOT want to miss.

Playing alongside Sharam is a NYC local dj who has been making major waves himself in the international house scene, Richie Santana.

Richie has been playing every major club in NY and NJ the last few years but has finally found his niche and is making a name for himself all over the world.

From his residency at Deko in NJ to his productions with such industry heavyweights as Victor Calderone, Chus and Ceballos and Peter Bailey....Richie is def one of houses fastest rising stars !

Additionally, SOL Resident Chris Soul will be spinning this night. Chris has played SOL numerous times for us and turned it out every single time.

His last performance playing with Derrick Carter was incredible...he had a packed room going nuts and set Derrick up perfectly.

Chris is our pick of next dj to watch...he is going to be a major name soon !

SOL NIGHTCLUB WELCOMES

SHARAM JEY —FIRST NY APPEARANCE— RICHIE SANTANA & CHRIS SOUL

SHARAM JEY BIO :

DJ, producer, label maker - Sharam Jey from Cologne, Germany, is a real allrounder. As a true lover of music and artist he uses any chance he gets to bring his music closer to clubbers all around the world.

Sharam Jey’s roots may be in soul music but he gained stage experience as a singer for a rockband. At the same time his Dj’ing skills became hugely popular on the party scene and among his friends. His Dj’ing started out as a part-time gig but soon turned into a passion when Sharam discovered his love for house&techno in the early 90s and from then on he played nothing but dance music.

Today, 10 years later, his name has become an international synonym for pumping Electrohouse music that just can’t be categorized. Uplifting disco sounds ? Grooving tribal tracks ? Breax ? Narrow, departmental thinking is definitely not Sharam’s thing. He is only interested in the quality of the tracks and if they can rock the dance floor. Especially in the UK, Sharam is an immensely popular DJ. But not only that ! His calendar is fully booked with regular gigs in Germany and even the US and Asia.

As a DJ he soon learned which tracks are guaranteed to really set the dance floor on fire. This knowledge resulted in the first remixes and other own productions in the mid-90’s which were very well received by both clubbers and critics. Sharam is also one half of the project Three N One. Their remix of "Café Del Mar" by Energy 52 stormed into the charts in 1997 and was voted best dance track of all times in 2001 by "Mixmag" ! In the years following, Sharam Jey remixed stars like Moby, Mylo, Faith No More, Faithless, Salt N Pepper, warren g,and loads more. This is in addition to over 50 own releases on labels like Underwater records Hooj Choons, Airtight,Four Twenty., Ink records,........

Releases on well-known labels like these are an honour in themselves but Sharam didn’t stop there. In early 2001 he decided to create his own platform for his music - King Kong Records. His motto is : No compromises ! With his own label, Sharam Jey can finally realize all his ideas and dreams - from sound to art work right thru to packaging. The label is now well established and successful.
