Le Dj/Compositeur :

Suite à ses secrètes explorations, Martin Damm possède plusieurs rivages à son paysage musical. Il ne se limite pas à un seul courant des musiques électroniques. Par conséquent, cet artiste aux milles facettes a de nombreux pseudonymes comme :

En 1995, il gagne deux disques d’or pour ses remixes de :
  Technohead : I Wanna Be A Hippie / Mokum / 250 000 exemplaires vendus en Allemagne
  Double Vision : Knockin’ / Happy Vibes / 250 000 exemplaires vendus en Allemagne Après une formidable carrière musicale arrivée à son apogée dans les années 1990, Martin Damm décide en ce début de nouveau millénaire de reprendre sa place de « Précurseur » musical en signant sur le label Audiogenic.

Il revient en 2002, sous le pseudonyme de THE SPEED FREAK, avec un album Hardcore « 1000 Needles ». Cet album, d’une qualité de production admirable, est très favorablement accueilli par le nouveau public français et européen en quête de sensations fortes. De nombreuses sorties de maxis s’ensuivent… Sa carrière redémarre sous un jour nouveau. En 2003, il s’adonne aux flots Drum & Breaks, avec la sortie de l’album « Your Future Is My Past » sous le pseudonyme de BIOBREAKS. Les morceaux sont tour à tour Drum&Bass, Breakbeats, Break&Drum, Ragga, Hip-hop, toutes les ambiances y sont vivantes. Un nouveau style en fusion est né…

En 2004, toujours avide de nouvelles expériences, il réalise sous le pseudonyme de THE SPEED FREAK le premier Megamix Hardcore, intitulé « The Cycore Megamix ». Ce mix informatique furieux, d’une durée d’une heure, est composé de 1655 samples tirés de 58 morceaux (soit plus de 27 samples/minute). Les amateurs du genre sont restés ahuri par ce petit bijou de technicité…
En 2005, il nous offre un nouvel album Hardcore intitulé « Disinformation Overload », qui assoit définitivement son retour comme maître du genre ! L’engouement du public pour cet artiste devient ahurissant. La sortie de son deuxième Megamix « The Cycore Megamix Chapter 2 » en 2006 est un succès européen ! Ses nouvelles compositions sont dans tous les bacs à disques des Dj Hardcore !

En 2008, The Speed Freak revient avec un album « FREAKWAVES »qui allie maîtrise et technique, confirmant encore une fois de plus son talent.

Dans les années 1990, Martin Damm a joué dans les plus gros événements internationaux tels que : Energy (Suisse), Prophecy (France), G-Pod (Osaka – Japon), Otaku Speedvibe (Tokyo – Japon), Omniglobe (Melbourne – Australie), Blitzkrieg (Los Angeles – USA), Odyssey (Suisse), Spinalcore (Calgary – Canada), Perplexer (Chicago – USA), Cubik (Suisse), Gazometer (Autriche), Encore (Los Angeles – USA), Speed (Chicago – USA), Gabber-G (Suisse), Hellraiser (Amsterdam – Hollande), A Nightmare in Rotterdam (Hollande), Futurescope Events (Suisse), Thunderdome (Amsterdam – Hollande), Nordik Impact (France)…
En parallèle de ces événements mythiques, il a fait plusieurs tournées mondiales dans des espaces variés : Japon (4 tournées, Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo), Australie (2 tournées, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney), USA (5 tournées, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles), mais aussi à travers toute l’Europe.
En 2005 et 2006, il a joué principalement en tant que Dj en Europe : France, Allemagne, Hollande, Belgique, Angleterre, Suisse, Italie. Pour 2007, il reviendra en force avec une nouvelle performance.
